The comparison of production of cytochalasin H from Phomopsis sp. by using two media, PDA and KC-enriched with soaked wheat, has shown that the later medium gave higher yield of Cytochalasim H. A new rapid method of estimation of microquantities of Cytochalasim H in the fermentation broths, by TLC-FID technique, has been developed.
