The in vitro dissolution behaviour of paracetamol crystals from their respective tablets showed faster release from those produced by ethanol and propylene glycol. This was in good agreement with the intrinsic in vitro release behaviour reported by us. Such crystals also showed faster in vivo release than the original powder.
