The effect of critical variables viz. moisture content (MC) in the extrudate, spheronizer plate speed and spheronization dwell time on the particle size distribution and sphericity of pellets prepared using a Fuji Paudal EXDS-60 extruder and a Fuji Paudal Q-230 spheronizer was studied and the results are presented.
