A series of 4-arylazo-1-(5-substituted benzoxazolin-2'-oxyacetyl)-3-methyl pyrazolin-5-ones (1-20) have been synthesised and evaluated for their action against Ranikhet Disease, Sunnhemp Rosette, and Cucumber Green Mottle Mosaic viruses. None of the compounds inhibited SRV and CGMMV significantly. However, compounds 3 and 10 showed significant activityy against RDV and inhibited the viral growth upto 72 percent
