Amides from amino acid ester and ibuprofen were synthesized. The solubility characterstics and partition coefficient of the compounds were studied. Hydrolysis in phosphate buffer (pH 7.4) containing 0.1 percent trypsin was rapid. The compounds showed better anti-inflammatory and analgesic activity than ibuprofen. |
