Some new chlorosubstituted phenoxy acetyl and propionyl benotriazoles were synthesised and screened for their anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antibacterial and antifungal properties. Trichlorophenoxy acetyl benzotriazole exhibited better anti-inflammatory activity than its propionyl derivative. The 2,5-dichlorophenoxy acetyl bbenzotriazole showed moderately better analgesic activity among the series. All the compounds showed mild to moderate antibacterial and antifungal activity.
