A method of determining the extent of change in the chloramphenicol (CH) in the time-barred samples is reported. Detailed polarographic study has shown distinct possibility of estimation of (CH) in the presence of its degradation products. Proposed method has been applied to the expired sample of a drug formulation with satisfactory results.
