Inclusion complexes of meloxicam with β-cyclodexirin (β -CD) were prepared by various methods like grinding, kneading, solid dispersion and freeze drying. The prepared complexes were evaluated by FTIR, X-ray diffraction, differential scanning calorimetry and scanning electron microscopy. The In vitro dissolution rate of drug-β-CD complex was faster compared to the drug alone.
