Parkinsonia aculeata stems have been shown to contain glycerol Ã?²-butanoate Ã?±, Ã?±ââ?¬â?¢-dipentanoate, Ã?²-sitosterol, glycerol Ã?±-heptanoate âË?ž'octanoate, Ã?²-sitosteryl- Ã?²-D-glucoside and sucrose. Of these, the two glycerides are being reported for the first time.
