A rapid and simple method for the determination of cephalexin (CPN) is presented. The method is based on the catalytic hydrogen wave noticed in presence of cobalt (II) and the drug at a potential of -1.47 V vs SCE. The drug can be determined over the range of 1.97 to 9.86 mug/ml. The method has been successfully applied for the determination of other pharmaceutical formulations containing cephalosporin.PDF
