A fast, accurate,rugged and simple High Performance Liquid Chromatographic (HPLC) method has been developed for simultaneous quatitation of enalapril maleate and hydrochlorthiazide in pharmaceutical formulations. The column used was reversephase (ODS). The assay result obtained for a commercial formulation was in accordance with the label claim. The results of the method was statistically validated for its accuracy, reproductibility and precision, by interday-intraday analysis. The low value of co-efficient of variation (0.94-3.06 percent) confirm the ruggedness of the method.
