The title 6/7- substituted -2H-1,4-benzoxazin-3-yl hydrazones of 2-furaldehyde and 5-nitro-2-furaldehyde have been prepared by the reaction of 2-furaldehyde and 5-nitro-furaldehyde hydrazones with the appropriately substituted benzoxazinones or 3-methyl-thiobenzoxazines. All the compounds were screened for their antimicrobial and anthelmintic activities.
