Abstract
Solvent deposited (SD) systems of piroxicam using five excipients showed marked increase in the dissolution rate. Capsule formulations based on SD systems with MCC and silicagel with usual additives gave fast and rapid dissolution fulfilling the USP XXI dissolution requirement.
